I was born, educated, and worked initially in Hamilton.  Then I  travelled overseas for  several years, gaining valuable experience working for many major companies, including a period working for the United Nations in Austria.  Upon returning to NZ,  I worked as a Personal Assistant to Executive staff at a major manufacturing company, and St. John Ambulance Executive (Head) Office in Hamilton. I have lived on the Coromandel Peninsula (Kuaotunu Beach,near Whitianga) for 21 years, and holidayed there for 10 years prior to that.   I have three children, now grown up.  Over the last 27 years, I have been very involved in their activities, and have been Secretary and/or President of many organisations including Waikato Plunket Association; Hamilton Playcenter & Kindergarten;  Kuaotunu Playgroup & Steiner Kindergarten; Mercury Bay Area School; Mercury Bay Swimming Club; Kuaotunu Community Hall Committee; Kuaotunu Athletics & Sports Club, and various other organisations around Whitianga.  I have had practical experience in the past with holiday accommodation and property management on the peninsula, and have been office administrator at the Ray White Offices in Whitianga, Cooks Beach, and Coromandel,  A change of circumstances in recent years meant that I have moved to Tauranga, and have worked as Administrator/Receptionist at the new offices of Ray White, Bayfair, in Mt Maunganui, for two years, then transferred to the Ray White Office in Papamoa, where I am currently working in the same position.    Collapse
